- Step 1: Outline a Clear Goal: List the sales productivity increase you’re looking for.
- Step 2: Determine how your customers/prospects would need to perform in order for those goals to be achieved?
- Step 3: Identify your buyer’s journey. Map out their decision process, beginning with when they discover their need and culminating with buying your product.
- Step 4: Analyze where your buyers get “stuck” along this journey.
- Step 5: Invite us to present a Selling To The Point keynote presentation. We’ll customize it for your sales team based on the buyer’s journey analysis you did. Our keynote will establish the importance of decision coaching as a strategic selling option.
- Step 6: After the keynote, we will ask for volunteer salespeople to attend our Selling To The Point Skill building workshop. The full workshop is delivered in 6—45 minute modules. This provides scheduling flexibility for presenting the entire workshop in one day, or in any fraction of 6 (2—3hr modules, 3—2hr. modules, 6—1hr. modules, etc.)
- Step 7: During the workshop’s skill building exercises, salespeople devise strategies to get customers unstuck. Customers can progress, once again, along their buyer’s journey toward purchasing.
- Step 8: The decision coaching strategies created at the workshop become the first additions to a customer coaching strategy database. This will begin an ever-accumulating database of strategies for salespeople’s reference.
- Step 9: Internal PR. Workshop participants share to the rest of the sales team how helpful the workshop was.
- Step 10: Based on this positive PR, another group of participants will volunteers to attend the workshop. Additional strategies are added to the database.
